Why is it important to secure drinking water sources?

Securing drinking water sources is crucial for many reasons. There are many arguments, drinking water is necessary for life and ensures the proper functioning of the human body. Another point, the lack of clean drinking water can lead to the spread of disease and threaten public health, disease spreads faster among displaced persons. In addition, drinking water is crucial for agriculture and industrial processes. By securing sources of drinking water, we protect the environment, biodiversity and maintain ecosystems. Overall, it can be said that the sustainable management of water resources is the basis for sustainable development and quality of life.
