In European countries, we turn the tap and we can drink, drinking water flows from the tap, it is a matter of course for us, but not for the people of Iraq.
As far the Iraqi people, It can be seen that Many people here have to consume objectionable contaminated water that brings them various health complications. Thus, the IDP communities who cannot afford to buy bottled water are most at risk.
In the village of Mam-Rashan which is situated in Shekhan district area, many displaced people from the Sinjar region found refuge and some even a new home. Displaced residents live in houses left by original residents who left to live in the cities many years ago due to job opportunities. By installing water filtration devices, we have provided them with sources of safe drinking water, thanks to which they will prevent various health problems.
Finally, we have just implemented the installation of water filtration devices in Mam-Rashan village. Thanks to financial support from the official development assistance program of Slovak, Slovakaid.
