Displaced people from the Sinjar area have lost their homes and beloved ones in an attack by the so-called Islamic State in 2014 and are currently losing their homes (tents where they live in) in a refugee camp due to a sudden big fire. For many years they have had to deal with various problems in refugee camps, in summer with increasing high temperatures of up to 50 degrees, in winter with low temperatures, in 2020 up to this day with Covid-19 infection. At the beginning of June 2021, displaced people in a refugee camp near the complex of Sharya faced a fire that destroyed over 300 tents and deprived 187 families of a roof over their heads and everything they had. In these difficult times, we would like to thank support of the Slovak Catholic Charity, we together could provid assistance to displaced residents in the form of 187 pieces of gas stoves(cookers). Many thanks for Slovak Catholic Charity help.
