The Urgency of Water Access in Summe

“The Urgency of Water Access in Summer”
Living without water during the summer is extremely challenging and potentially life-threatening. Water scarcity leads to dehydration, fatigue, headaches, and serious health issues. It also makes maintaining proper hygiene difficult, increasing the risk of disease. High temperatures further endanger vulnerable groups, particularly children, the elderly, and the sick. The search for alternative water sources can be both exhausting and hazardous. For these reasons, we are undertaking the reconstruction of the well in Bersavy to support both local residents and displaced persons. This initiative is being carried out in cooperation with Caritas Slovakia and with financial support from the Bishops’ Conference of Slovakia.
