Supporting local and internally displaced communities

Together with our partner, Slovak Catholic Charity, we focus on supporting local and internally displaced communities by providing access to drinking and utility water. Our efforts include installing new wells, above-ground water storage tanks, water treatment systems, and pipelines.
This involves either replacing existing pipelines or constructing new ones to transport water from the well to the main reservoir and then to family residences in villages or cities.
Installing a plumbing system is a challenging yet essential task, requiring significant effort. It also encompasses any necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure sufficient water capacity for households and other facilities.
The goal of upgrading or implementing new water pipelines is to ensure a safe and efficient water supply from the well that meets quality standards. Our project in the villages of Doghata and Darkar was made possible through financial support from Slovakia’s official development aid program, SlovakAid.
