Well drilling is a procedure for extracting groundwater

Drilling man-made wells is a procedure for extracting groundwater, but drilling is very difficult because there is often a risk of the well collapsing, and the deeper one drills, the greater the risk. Water obtained from wells is suitable for various purposes, including agriculture, industry and public consumption. Artesian wells are deep wells that reach down to a water reservoir. These wells are an important source of drinking water in Iraq due to the lack of surface water sources. The wells that are currently being implemented in the villages of Doghat and Darkar are being successfully implemented.
