“What does water mean to us?”

Have you ever used this question “What does water mean to us?” or have you ever answered it?
In the villages of Hatarah and Bagera, and not only in Nineveh Plain, but throughout all over Iraq, people will tell you that water means life. Water is primarily a prerequisite for the life of all living things. Water is the basic component of human life, all living things, plants, the air cycle etc. it’s life – the movement of nature.
The implementation of wells with sources of safe drinking water gives hope to local and displaced people in Iraq, hope for life, livestock breeding, and crop cultivation.
The project was successfully implemented. Thanks to financial support from the official development assistance program of Slovakia, Slovakaid. Thanks also to our partners the Conference of Bishops of Slovakia and the Slovak Catholic Charity.
