A more important part of the construction of the well is the well itself, which we are currently drilling one in the village of Bersive in Zakho district. Many special thanks go to financial support from the financed by official development assistance of the Slovak Republic, SlovakAid, and our partners such as the Slovak Catholic Charity, we can provide thousands of other water sources in a few months. We also thank the Conference of Bishops of Slovakia for their support. The village of Bersive is located in Darkare sub-area of Zakho district. The village was founded 120 years ago. The village is home to Christians, Muslims and currently displaced people from the Sinjar area, who profess the Yazidi religion. Since 1979, a total of 800 families (4,000 people) have lived in this village.
